TownHall24 smart container supports bicycling and community in Jätkäsaari

This spring 2017 Community Constructor Ltd performs a mini pilot to create and test a concept of the TownHall24 smart container in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki. The TownHall24 concept utilizes the Liiteri smart containers developed by CoReorient Ltd and allows both the residents as well as passengers in Jätkäsaari to participate in sustainable sharing economy. The container enables a 24/7 bicycle repair service and a tools loaning service. The range of services will grow during the pilot based on user feedback.

The choice of appliances for loaning has it’s focus on spring cleaning; Kärcher window cleaning and floor cleaning devices and a pressure washer can be loaned against a deposit. A Bullitt Submarine cargo bike is also available. The container can also be used as a storage for luggage for the ferry passengers between Finland and Estonia.
